SdKfz 223 - Wayne Murray

This is the old (1975) 1/35 Tamiya kit of the SdKfz 223 Leichter Panzerspahwagen (Fu) which has been built out of the box although some of the accessories have been replaced with more modern & better detailed items. these include:- Jerry cans have been replaced with resin items from Plus Models, water bottles & MG34 are Dragon items & Tamiya & Trumpeter tools. The figure & Water containers are from the Dragon Afrika Korps kit. The model was painted with Tamiya acrylics. Paint chips are Patnes Grey oil paint using an old scouring pad & dry brushing. Mig pigments were used to impart a dusty finish
