Dicker Max (10.5 cm K (gp.Sfl.)) - Peter Battle

1/35 scale Dragon Dicker Max kit with aftermarket: Aber Tool Clamps and Clasps, Archer Dry Transfer Decals and Bronco German single wing nuts.
Scratchbuilt items made from Magic Sculpt are the Muzzle brake cover, breech cover and tarpaulin. The Jack block from styrene square rod and detailed with a wire handle and brass strip from the spares box.
Modifications made include: wiring added to headlights, grab handles replaced with wire, wiring and conduit added to radio and binocular episcopes, tow cables replaced with twisted brass wire and D clamp to join the "loose" ends added from wire and plastic rod, missing shelves between the two ammunition racks on the right side of the fighting compartment added, etched Gas mask canister racks added from spares box and water bottle strap and loops scratchbuilt to represent those in the photographs of the one prototype taken prior to issue to fighting unit.
The model was: primed in Tamiya Fine primer (Grey), Pre-shaded in Tamiya Flat Black, Base coat Tamiya Acrylic Flat Black and German Grey followed by Tamiya German Grey, Mist coated with Tamiya German Grey with a touch of Neutral Grey and Filtered using thinned Humbrol German Grey with a touch of Dark blue added.
Weathered with AK Interactive: Streaking effects enamel paint, Winter Streaking effects enamel paint and Mud Effects enamel paint. Pastel Chalks and Mig Pigments used for dust and grime effects.
