LVT (A)-1 - Michael Flynn

This is the Italeri kit built with some enhancements to backdate the vehicle to an early model. The grille-type cover of the engine compartment was modified and the headlights were lowered to be flush with the hull. Some basic interior was added. Model is airbrushed in Humbrol # 32 to represent FS36081, which is supposed to be the nearest to ‘battleship grey’. A lighter grey was then used to give a faded effect. Polly S acrylics were used for weathering. USMC vehicles carried minimal markings. The numbers applied are ‘generic’, merely to dress the model up a bit.
