Rohrhinterwagen (Barrel transport vehicle) with 10.4cm Skoda M15 barrel

Serial No.(Barrel) - 492
Build Date (Barrel) - 1917

Captured by Brigadier-General Wilson (3rd Light Horse Brigade) at Jenin, Palestine 20th Sept 1918. Originally allocated to Bombay (Mumbai) by British authorities this vehicle was claimed for Brisbane Boys Grammar by the intervention of Brigadier-General Wilson [Boys Grammar archivist]. This vehicle is unique - there is another barrel transport vehicle at the Army Museum at Brussels but that example carries a 15cm howitzer barrel.
