This is the EMHAR Kit # 4003. This model was reworked to better capture the details of the real vehicle, and depicts a vehicle in use during the last months of WWI when allied forces were chasing the retreating German army, allowing the Whippet to undertake its original role of exploiting breakthroughs, much like the cavalry it replaced. Areas receiving attention were, tracks, track guards, weapons, exhaust, air intakes, handles and stowage boxes. Painting was done with Tamiya XF-51, Khaki Drab. Then various filters applied using Vallejo to subtly change and weather the vehicle. Final weathering was done with MIG Pigments to blend the vehicle to the base. Detail information can be found in the November 2008 issue of Military Modelcraft International.
